Q. What is the minimum age to be able to train on the Option 1 & Option 2 Home Study Diploma Training Courses, or to buy the Orchids Training Manual 'Learn To Be a Professional Body Piercer'?
A. 16 Years Old or over.
Q. When do the Home Study Option 1 & Option 2 Diploma Training Course Fees have to be paid?
A. Payment for either the Home Study Diploma Training Course Option 1 or Home Study Diploma Training Course Option 2 - whether ordering online or by postal application, payment must always be in full before a Course can be dispatched. Upon receipt of full payment Courses are dispatched within 7-28 days of cleared funds. N.B. No refunds can be given once the Option 1 or Option 2 Course has been ordered (this does not affect your statutory rights).

Q. What is the difference between the Option 1 Home Study Diploma Course, & the Option 2 Home Study Diploma Course?
A...WELL THERE ARE 3:
The Option 2 Course £795 is identical to both our Option 1 Course Formats - in terms of having the same Training Manual and all the subjects that are covered in it.
1) In addition to that, the £795 Option 2 Course also contains 'Life Like' Model Practice Materials (to practice pierce in a simulated near to 'Real Life' situation as is possible) -
2) PLUS it also contains Professional Jewellery & Equipment such as Clamps, Medi Swabs, Needles, Medi Gloves, a Venier Gauge, etc (N.B. most of the Professional Equipment included can be used when the candidate starts piercing professionally) -
3) PLUS there is a Practical & Theory examination paper - instead of just the Theory examination paper that is included in both of the Option 1 Course formats.
Q. What is the difference between the Two Option 1 Home Study Diploma Course Formats: CD Format & A4 Hardback Book Format ?
A. The Option 1 Course is available to buy as a CD Version at only £49.95 - or as an A4 Hardback Book Version at only £99.
Both Formats are exactly the same, the only difference is that on the CD Version, the enclosed Training Manual is sent on a CD (for candidate's to view on their Pc and print off themselves), instead of being sent in the Hardback Book Format (Paper), that is in the £99 Version.
Q. How long are either the Home Study Diploma Training Course Option 1, or Home Study Diploma Training Course Option 2, likely to take to complete?
A. Candidates have completed the Home Study Diploma Training Course Option 1 & Home Study Diploma Training Course Option 2 in as little as 2 weeks*, however, up to 1 year is given to complete either Course Option from the date of delivery.
Q. When I return the Course examination papers for marking (and some other selected materials for Option 2 Course), why do I have to send them by 'Registered Special Delivery Postal Service' (for UK residents, or equivalent for all other areas including Europe & International)?
A. Registered Special Delivery is a guaranteed next day delivery postage service that has the added security of signatures throughout the postal process, therefore the contents are insured and more traceable should they go astray.
Q. If I complete and pass either of the Orchids Body Piercing Clinic & Institute of Training® Home Study Diploma Training Courses Options 1 or 2 - if I wanted to go on and set-up a Body Piercing establishment, legally, would I be able to carry out Body Piercing procedures?
A. Yes.
* 2 week period quoted is based on average number of previous candidates on Orchids files and number of hours per week participating.
** Providing the grade required is achieved by the candidate.
N.B. Genital & Dermal Piercings are not covered in the Training Manual, or either Course Option.
